I am SUPER EXCITED to announce my very first ever give-away!
We are flashing back to a darker time in my life:
Not only did I have a terrible haircut (thanks, Mom) but I was afraid every single night. What was I afraid of? Monsters! In fact, it wasn’t an unusual sight to find my Dad sleeping on the pull out trundle bed to ensure that the closet monsters couldn’t hurt me on a nightly basis. There was nothing to do except wait it out, waiting for this phase to end. To this day, Eli laughs at me because I cannot sleep if the closet door is open.
Enter the monster combat of the 21st century! Miss Stephanie’s Potions is a local Bay Area company founded by a Mom who had a son who feared going to bed, so she created a line of products that would help him fall asleep naturally. Monster repellent spray was born. The line also includes other “bad guys” such as vampires, zombies and werewolves too. Children can spray it on the “trouble spots” such as closet doors, doorknobs, the floor, or they can spray it directly on the monster to turn it into an instant friend. And the good news for us, as parents? Miss Stephanie’s lightly scented sprays have proven scents to calm anxiety (such as lavender) and her website says:
“We are committed to putting our customers first, and the planet a very close second. Our sprays and bath & body products are all natural and we do not use any caustic chemicals. We use local artists for our designs as well as our website and T-shirts, and our sprays and bath & body products are manufactured by a certified green manufacturer right here in the good ol’ USA. And of course we never test on animals. “
She also has other products like body wash and bubble bath, that gives the children an armor of protection from head to toe.
However, you have the opportunity to win two different products from Miss Stephanie’s line!
You will win the wonderful (and awesome smelling!) Monster be Good Spray AND the Essence of Fairy Dust Fairy Attraction Spray ! Don’t have a monster problem at your house? Well with the fairy spray, your child can spray it around at night to attract the night time fairies to visit them! It has a yummy smelling watermelon-citrus scent and it’s a known fact that fairies bring sweet dreams for all the kids that they visit.

I “Like” The Memoirs of Megan. A whole lot.
I “Like” Miss Stephanie’s Potions on FB.
I already get your emails. I stalk you.
I’ve never used her products, but LOVE that they’re all natural! Such a cute idea!
Hmm, I thought I was subscribed to your blog, but must have been the old one. Ok, I’m a fan of you and can now stalk you more easily. Regina and I stay up late at night scanning through your photos. In our underwear…
I love that you are partnering with Miss Stephanie! We have a lot of her products here at home…the kids love them! The Fairy Spray smells great as do the bath products. I already LIKE her page on FB
Man, since Gabe deployed, Austin has been coming into my room almost every night saying he has bad dreams or “sees” things. The monster spray would be a good way to encourage him to stay in his room at night because it is safe and let this exhausted Mommy get some sleep (hopefully!).
I don’t know what Miss Stephanie has but I do like her name cuz I have a cousin with the same name. I also do everything else you asked (except like Miss Stephanie because I don’t have monsters and don’t like fairies. However, in the event I win….I might like her. Who knows. Give it time. We’ll see….
I think the monster spray is a great idea. I also do not sleep well with a closet door open. Can’t stand it!!

Open doors while sleeping is bad feng shui. Not really a monster thing as it is bad energy. You all are normal.
haha, these are hilarious! I personally like Zombie Repellent/Be Good because after watching enough episodes of The Walking Dead, I’m petrified of the things!
I just liked Miss Stephanie’s Potions (as mini me papers)!

While I don’t know a thing about this product, I find it intriguing, mystical and mysterious. True story!!! Only one way to find out if it works…trying it out for myself! Fingers crossed!!
PS I already “like” your blog!
I think the entire idea is just awesome and if I had children or if I were a child I would really want the Essence of Fairy Dust! I have contacted Miss Stephanie’s Potions to order a few gift baskets for giveaways at event with youth and families!
OH YEAH My second entry, I like Memoirs of Megan blog on FB
AND I am following by email…now.
Don’t know much about “liking” and all that stuff, but I DO feel a need to defend the haircut! First of all, I didn’t personally cut it (despite what it looks like) and the reason it was cut short was because brushing/pony-tailing/braiding/barretting/etc. were sheer torture for the girl in the picture. So, getting it cut was actually YOUR idea (hee hee) and please notice even a lack of curling iron touches!! Anyway, the spray/etc. would probably work well for monsters and stuff, but I will take credit for the not-sleeping-with-the-closet-door-open thing!!
Sorry daughters! Mom
I liked Mrs. Stephanie’s potions page on fb
I love the whole store! I love the thought and creativity! Totally rockin.
I’ve never used it either but it should be exciting to find out what it’s like
Those r too cute….. Think Lou would love the fairy dust!
