The title is somewhat correct.
Yesterday, I fell down some stairs and a trip to the emergency room confirmed that I have broken my tailbone.
I woke up today mostly just sore, like I was in a car accident.
Eli is out of town so it’s just me, the two dogs and the baby {and rabbit} today.
And tonight! My best friend Nicholette (and her husband) roll into town! Yeah!!! The last time she was here was to visit us when Vivien was just 8 days old. I’m excited for Vivien to see her namesake (and “Nina”)
Look how tiny V was last time!
This is kind of a nothing post. Please pray for my butt, I mean, er, tail bone. It’s hard to have an infant and be as uncomfortable as I am. My inability to put V in her crib did lead to some co-sleeping snuggles last night.
{I loved it and wished I had a big enough bed to do it every night!}
And, I am now #46!!!! Please click the banner to vote. It means a ton to me.
Have a happy weekend!!

Sorry you broke your butt!!
. Wish I could be there to take care of sweet Viv…
And me??? LOL.
I love cosleeping. Not sure what I’m gonna do when we start using the crib. It’ll be sad
I have brought in her pack and play to put it next to the bed because I’m not ready to transition yet. She naps in her crib, at least (or on me 90% of the time)
Yeah it is pretty amazing. I don’t do it normally because my husband is a pretty heavy sleeper and it makes me scared. Next time around I will probably buy a co-sleeper.
My mom said that breaking your tailbone is VERY painful!!! I’m so sorry! How long will it take to recover? I hope you feel better soon!
The doctor said 3-6 months as the fastest.
I feel better already (honestly, nothing has compared yet to my spinal headache/c-section combo) so I think my pain tolerance is pretty high.
