You may wonder, who/what is “Mema?” Well, “Mema” is what we call Grandma (my mom) My (now) 11 year old nephew came up with that nickname when he was a baby, and it just kind of stuck.
Mema decided to “steal” my camera and surprise me with some candid shots. So, because of that, I have decided to POST one of them. (xoxox Mom.)
Anywho, the main purpose of our trip to Michigan was to attend Mema’s wedding. My sister and her children, along with Vivien and I, went to Michigan a week before the wedding, and our husbands arrived the morning of the wedding (super early in the morning after red-eye flights, such devoted husbands!)
Vivien slept through most of the ceremony. (And Daddy was missing her a ton, so it was a win-win!)
Then she woke up, thrilled to be there!
Keys!
I’m so happy to be here, Mema. I’ll just sit and watch.
Yay! Mema’s married!
I’m a happy girl!
Her smile here cracks me up.
Posing for pictures.
Then we all ate lunch. Vivien had some puffs, obvi. Eli loves this picture.
Then she played on the floor for a bit.
It was a lovely wedding, and we couldn’t be happier for Mema and her new husband, Papa Larry.

Little one looks very well behaved in the wedding ceremony! She certainly looks like daddy’s girl eh? So cute! They grow up so fast!
