Fall Decorations: Channeling my Inner Martha

Yesterday, my little family headed to Michael’s craft store to pick up some fall decorations. We also went with the intention of getting some supplies for birthday goody bags, but I found myself saying, “I need Sheena…” about 45 times, so that will have to wait until she comes to visit and sheds some light on my crafting ambitions.

However, we did grab some awesome fall decorations (for super cheap) and hurried home to put them up.

The wreath was bought originally for the front door, but when we got home and tested it out, we realized that it was too thick and was getting smashed by the glass storm door. As you can see though, it found a welcome home on our fireplace.

I also spent some time on pinterest thinking up some other fall craft ideas, and nailed one down that I am excited to try out. (and I think it’s easy enough that I won’t need to employ my visiting friends to help me with it.)

Have you been hit by the fall spirit bug? Want to see what I’ve been dreaming up? You can follow me on pinterest hereDo you put up seasonal decorations around the home?
