Oh my word, we had a busy Tuesday! In the morning time, we went to Kindermusik, and came home and took a very, very quick nap, and headed out to Vivien’s 15 month pediatrician check-up visit.
We were very pleased to hear how much she has grown, and how she jumped statistics within the past 3 months! She has never, ever been over the 50th percentile in weight, in her life. And she hasn’t been that high in height since she was a newborn. She’s growing, and eating, and is a happy, sweet little baby!
Height: 31 1/4 inches (69.1 percentile!)
Weight: 21lbs 13 oz (56th percentile!)
Then, the shots came, and she’s been grumpy ever since. I don’t blame her, and it makes me cry every single time to watch her red-faced screaming when they give her shots. It never gets easier.
All in all, Tuesday was a blur of rushing here, and there- and I know that it’s only the beginning.
Sorry for the brain-less post. Sometimes, as Moms, we have to admit that there are good days, and then there are shot days. Oy. Shot days.
I need a shot of tequila on shot days.

Aren’t the shots the worst?!?! We had to space them out with my youngest because he just couldn’t handle the amount they were throwing at him. My daughter got cranky and tired but he is a monster! At his 15 month(I think) he was finally on the chartsfor the first time. He was always 130% in weight, my big boy. The 18 month shots got him good with the delayed reaction. Cranky, tired, fever, runny nose and all.
Vivien is adorable!
