So we’ve had a bad…

Day, Week.

To say that this week has been the hardest since Vivien was a newborn sounds a bit dramatic, however it’s completely accurate. Double ear infections are no joke, and it pains me to see Vivien hurting.

She was able to start her antibiotics on Monday evening, and while we’ve seen a slight improvement with her sleeping through the night, the daytime is a whole other story. She has no appetite, so meal time has become a struggle with me begging her “just one bite, baby” and her crying and yelling, “NOOOO” to me.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that each day, she has collectively eaten a few granola bars (the junky ones with like, chocolate chips) goldfish crackers, and a few bites of yogurt. She is typically an amazing eater, so for her to turn down food is shocking to me. Last night she ate some veggies and noodles from my homemade chicken noodle soup (no chicken, but that’s not new.) I feel like things are starting to look up?

In the madness of the past week, I forgot to do a Foto-Friday post, so you’re going to see the best of the best for the past two weeks.

 Here’s the “Stuff” we got these past few weeks. You’ll recognize the shoes from my outfit post, as well as the earrings. The general consensus was that everyone liked the pink earrings better, however, once the shoes came in, the background isn’t a pink, more of a peach and while there are pink flowers, I thought that the blue would look better, and that I’d get more use. I’m so happy with how it looks!

Vivien and I went to IKEA last week, and we scored the above kitchen for half off, and it was too good of a deal to pass up. Her Toms also came in from Zulily that I ordered a few weeks ago.

Any-who…I hope you have a great Friday, and an even greater weekend. I am SO STOKED for my weekend of fun, as I have a Mom’s Night Out Bunco party planned, as well as having a friends over on Sunday. And? It’s supposed to be 75 degrees this weekend. Hooray!
