Or not. But friends, it is supposed to snow.
I can’t tell you if it’s going to happen or not (especially since I am actually writing this post on Thursday, er, yesterday evening.) But this week though, we’ve been living as if the end of the world is happening on Friday. I also see that the weather is supposed to be back in the 70′s early next week. But still. Snow!
You may have noticed my lack of posting this week, and it’s because we’ve been too busy to stop. Too busy to watch Sesame Street (AKA: my blogging time) and having too much fun. We had a mall trip one day, a trip to the doctor’s office the next, followed by a 2 hour long jaunt at the park on the way home, and more.
We explored the zoo and had an absolute blast, and went over to a friend’s house and played in her bounce-house in the backyard. I felt as if we did a month’s worth of activities in just 4 short days. But that’s the thing about fall, and really October in general. It’s my favorite, and I want to experience every single bit of it. Vivien is at a fun age where she appreciates going and doing things, and the weather is perfection, really. Low 60′s for the past week.
Except today. Today it may snow. And I may cry if it happens. Because I’m just not ready for my October to have snow.
Since we’ve been so busy, I haven’t even thought to pull out my camera to capture the moments. Not even my cell phone! I almost feel as if they are special October fun activities that I don’t want to share with anyone else except Vivien. As if my mental photos and memories will last me much longer than my phone, or blog, or even camera.
Happy October, friends! Please pray that it doesn’t snow, because I really am itching to take my girl on a walk to collect leaves. Not snowflakes.
