It seems that the busier I become, the more my daily chores fall apart at the helms. My once, extremely regimented, cleaning schedule is now sadly neglected (as are my second floor bathrooms.) I feel like my day is full of building block towers, putting out small fires (aka: sibling fights) and spending every single “free” moment at the computer working on either photography, or Daily Mom. Weekends are full of activities, birthday parties, and family outings.
But honestly, I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love being busy. But my laundry? Well, as much as I try to stay on top of it, sometimes it just piles up. Vivien and I have super sensitive skin. Neither of us can use very many brands of laundry detergent. But we do love all free clear!
My goal (and tip!) is to do one load of laundry every single day. To be quite honest, sometimes there isn’t a full load every single time (and by “full” I mean nearly overflowing and probably way too much clothes than my washer can actually handle.)
I actually started using all free clear when I was cloth diapering Vivien, and usually have a bottle around for when I need to pull out the big laundry soap guns. I especially love the all free clear with oxi stainlifters, and it handles the dirty kiddo stains with ease!
